Tip Toe Fairy

Tip Toe Fairy coloured with watercolour pencils.

After colouring the fairy I cut the topper using a Spellbinders die.   I used another Spellbinders die to cut a mat in some purple card.   I layered the topper onto some flowered paper then some dark purple card and finally a white card blank.  I used a Lili of the Valley circular sentiment and some Marrianne flourish die cuts to finish the card.

I used Broken China distress ink to colour around the edge of the stamped image and also the edges of the card the stamped image is attached to.  I used Majestic labels 25 to make the frame around the image and also layered it on top of silver card. The snowflakes were cut from silver and white card.  I also dotted silver stickles around the stamped image.

I used  Dandelion Girl from Wee stamps, she is coloured with Copic pens and Spectrum Noir pencils.  The Butterfly and stamens of the flowers were also coloured with the Copic pens to match the girls dress.  The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

I know the flowers I have added are not dandelions but I like them and she is a cute stamp.

Raise the Bar   There challenge is Summer

The sun was shining in my garden today although you would not know it was Summer, the wind was blowing a gale and it was cold.  I did have a visitor today, it's not often I see butterflies these days but one came in today, I think he was sheltering from the wind and he stayed still long enough for me to get my camera and take a photo.

Punch Drunk

Cute Card Thursday  blog has 'punch drunk' as the challenge this week.
You can either use punches or drink (punch) inspired card.
I have used some daisy punches and a stamen punch on this card with a cute stamp from Sheena's A little bit sketchy range.

The main card is cut using a Spellbinders Grand labels One die and I have coloured the little girl with ProMarkers and I think the backing paper is from one of Joanna Sheen's Cd's.  I have loads of paper that I have printed from Cd's that I am trying to use them up before I print more.  I also used some cloud backing paper that I had printed to make the daisies and used some pearlescent card the same as the base card for the stamens and mat for the stamped image.  A Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp finishes the card.

Life is Wonderful

Another   Lili's little Fairies  challenge, I only just made it in time for the last one so this time I am making sure I do not leave it to the last minute again.

I had trouble taking a photo of this and had to take it into the garden but as the little boy is laying against a tree it seems appropriate.
I used the same Centura Pearl card to cut the Splendid Circle die, Edgeabilitie die and some leaves from the Floral Flourishes die and used Broken China Distress Ink to create the clouds on the main picture.

Anything but square

The Lilie's Little Fairies challenge is Anything but Square this week.

I made a Father's day card for one of my boys to give to Dave.  I was going to make the circles all line up in the middle but they looked like a bulls eye. LOL

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens and used the Spellbinders Circle and Grand Circle dies.

Polkadoodles doolded challenge

I have only recently discovered Polkadoodles, yes I know where have I been!  I love the CD's and the digi images are wonderful.

The challenge this week is to doodle a border or element, here is the challenge Polkadoodles challenge 21

and here is my easel card

I 'doodled' tiny stitches around the edges of the middle green scalloped circle.  I would have put pearls in the centre of the flowers but I have made this card for a little girl and don't like putting gems/pearls on small children's cards.  I coloured the little girl with Spectrum Noir pens.

Card Recipe

Circle sentiment from Lili of the Valley.
Spectrum Noir pens.
Spellbinders Large Scalloped Circles Grand die.

Paintbox Poppets

When I'm not stitching I'm card making or scrapbooking so I thought it was about time I blogged some of my cards.  Well actually I put this card on my stitching blog and someone said I should so here goes.

The decoupage is from the Paintbox Poppets CD from Crafter's Companion and the seaside backing paper is from Joanna Sheen's Faye Whittaker CD.  I used Go-Kreate dies to cut the card and the sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.
